IEEE Computer Society Binghamton Chapter hosts speech

The IEEE Computer Society's Binghamton, New York Chapter has graciously invited Mr. Gezelter, as part of the IEEE Computer Society's Distinguished Visitors speaking program, to speak on Friday, April 1, 2005. The exact topic is still under discussion with the chapter, but is likely to be in the networking, security, or systems architecture realm.

Encompass Delaware Valley LUG Hosts presentation addresses OpenVMS on Integrity Servers

Mr. Gezelter will speak at the invitation of the Encompass Delaware Valley LUG at the HP offices in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania on Thursday afternoon, March 10, 2005.

His presentation will address the technical issues of assimilating HP’s Itanium-based Integrity servers into the IT infrastructure. The technical issues involved in migrating existing VAX and Alpha-based applications will also be examined.

NetworkWorld OpEd on Low Volume Denial of Service Attacks

HP - Intel Developer Seminar column published on OpenVMS.org

Mr. Gezelter published a column on the December 2004 HP - Intel Developer Seminar on OpenVMS.org. In this column, he reported on the impressive state of the then soon to be released OpenVMS 8.2 for HP Integrity Servers.

Mr. Gezelter cited in ComputerWorld articles on OpenVMS

Mr. Gezelter was quoted in a recent ComputerWorld article, OpenVMS survives and thrives, on the attractiveness of OpenVMS on Integrity as a platform for future applications. In particular, he commented on the cost savings which can be directly attributed to a platform with a stable, complete programming interface.
