Embedded System Consulting Services
Our founding principal, Robert Gezelter, has worked with embedded systems of various forms for much of his career. Some of this projects have included: .
The conception, architecture, implementation and testing of firmware for a variety of problems on various processors, including Microchip's PIC series, Intel's x86, and others.
The conception, architecture, and implementation of a variety of protocols for inter- and intra-device communications in embedded contexts, including:
Efficiently implementing embedded systems involving the definition of a custom state machine or pseudo-instruction set. Such an approach decomposes a end-application to a series of primitive functions, much as the JAVA VM provides a background for executing JAVA programs. This approach reduces both line count and overall code size while improving correctness, an important consideration in embedded systems.
Developing efficient and complete macro definitions for programming small microcontrollers. Mr. Gezelter has implemented a wide range of macro definitions in a broad range of contexts, from system generation configuration macros to macros that implement a finite state machine in a small scale microcontroller.
