Connections Lost: Lessons from New York, September 11, 2001

The tragic events of September 11, 2001, have and will continue to teach us much about courage, heroism, and the human spirit. Those lost, emergency personnel, passengers, flight crew, and occupants of the WTC and Pentagon will live forever in our hearts and memories.

The lessons of September 11 are invaluable. As IT professionals, it is our responsibility to discern the lessons of September 11, both positive and negative. The extensive coverage of the event and its aftermath makes such analysis possible from the perspective of what lessons need to be learned from this incident.

We will examine the event to learn what lessons can be drawn from the experience.
