Strategies for Migration from Alpha and VAX to HP Integrity

This session explains how to organize the migration of a large-scale environment from Alpha to HP Integrity, without user disruption or business risk.

  • Find out how to quickly migrate to HP OpenVMS on HP Integrity by re-compiling, re-linking, and re-qualifying
  • Learn why many organizations cannot use an “all-at-once” migration strategy
  • Hear about the unique capabilities that allow organizations to assimilate HP Integrity servers in a phased, structured, extremely low-risk approach
  • Discuss the HP OpenVMS clustering and image translation capabilities that offer end-user management and technical staffs a unique degree of flexibility
