• in-depth work with FILES-11 internals; including restructuring volumes in place without using backup or restore operations
• reconstituting volume sets when the primary volume of the volume set is unrecoverable
• transitioning environments from one storage technology to another without interrupting operations, including situations where the old and new storage devices do not provide support for interroperation
• architected, designed, and implemented Fibre Channel Storage Area Networks (SANs) with redundant connections
• transitioned SANs from one generation of fabric to a new generation infrastructure without interrupting ongoing operations
• spoken at DECUS, ENCOMPASS, and OpenVMS Bootcamps, both within the United States and internationally on OpenVMS storage-related issues and subjects
