Since the firm's founding in 1978, Mr. Gezelter worked extensively with OpenVMS™'s system management facilities and utilities. His activities have included:

• utilizing SYSMAN to automate and parallelize system startup procedures for clients systems, realizing performance increases of up to 1000% in some situations, significantly reducing downtime in situations where systems must be restarted.
• implementing numerous DCL procedures working in concert with the STARTUP database and command procedures to address a wide range of client application and system management requirements.
• assisting client staff with system management tasks.
• troubleshooting system management related problems on behalf of clients.
• remotely managing client systems in production and development environments.
• speaking on SYSMAN and STARTUP related issues at DECUS Symposia.
